Job Summary: Inspect, verify, restock and process all customer returned material accurately and efficiently.
- Meet or exceed the expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience.
- Follow company SOP’s.
- Understand the layout of the warehouse/yard and bin location system, as well as the different types of product Etna stocks.
- Create and invoice customer credits.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Prevent stocking errors and inventory discrepancies through use of RF scanning and bar code label equipment and PO receiving documents.
- Work with sales, CSR’s, customers, and Returns Administrator to ensure timely processing of customer returned material.
- Collaborate on a daily basis with Returns Admin. to ensure swift return of nonstock/defective material to vendor.
- Maintain Return Goods Queue to company standards.
- Assist receiving, shipping, and yard departments as needed.
- Assist in the upkeep and general housekeeping of the warehouse/yard.
- Work safely.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of company product identity.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, detail orientation, and stress management skills.
- Effective computer skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Basic adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division skills with or without using a calculator.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in the plumbing/waterworks industry; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
- Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.
