The Plant Industrial Engineering Manager is responsible for managing and leading the plant's industrial engineering department. The Industrial Engineering Manager will interact with management to develop hourly and salary staffing, business plans, and lead actions to achieve productivity objectives, including daily, weekly, and monthly business reports. This selected individual will interact daily with production management and union leadership about all matters relating to staffing requirements. This role also supports the development of direct, indirect, and salary staffing for model year specific budgets, working with both manufacturing engineering and central industrial engineering. The selected individual will support all aspects of Stellantis Production Way (SPW), especially the workplace organization pillar, which includes value and nonvalue analysis, workstation optimization, and waste elimination while supporting the logistics pillar to develop factory flow analysis and material/parts logistic. The Industrial Engineering Manager provides guidance and knowledge to develop efficient manufacturing processes and workforce for advance programs.
Additional responsibilities include:
Hiring, Training and Development of IE's
Lead and manage IE department
Generate improvements based on data analysis utilizing various tools
Kaizen's
SMED's
Micro stoppage reduction
Downtime reduction
Labor utilization
Throughput (OLE) Improvement
Responsible for all IE related activities in support of Plant Operations
Maintain correct Man assignments for all operations
Maintain and track correct hourly and salary manning levels
Advise Plant Senior Leadership on status of hourly and salary manpower needs
Submit hiring requests as required
Liaise with Corporate Industrial Engineering
Conduct PCS (Product Cost Study) once per calendar year
Conduct special studies as requested by Plant Manager
Submit reports as required on a timely basis

SPW tools and methodologies are followed as part of everyday work
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work, manpower estimation, and standard data
Must understand assembly manufacturing systems and demonstrate the ability to apply throughput management process techniques and assess equipment capacity
Previous supervisor or managerial experience is required
Data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving skills are essential
Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and Stellantis Production Way (SPW) principles is necessary
