The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing subcontractor and Ferndale employee operations at project sites across the United States. This role involves managing multiple concurrent accounts, coordinating field activities, and ensuring successful execution of system integration projects and subcontractor projects of other trades. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized professional with strong communication and leadership skills, capable of managing remote teams and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and subcontractors, ensuring project requirements are clearly communicated and met.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities at job sites nationwide, including scheduling, logistics, and performance oversight.
- Maintain organized records of project documentation and drawings using designated software platforms.
- Oversee procurement of materials internally or by subcontractors and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Conduct project closeouts, ensuring all deliverables are completed to specification and client satisfaction is achieved.
- Promote safety compliance and quality standards across all job sites.

Technical Requirements:
- Card Access Systems:
- Understanding of system architecture, wiring, and hardware components (controllers, readers, door hardware).
- Familiarity with platforms such as Lenel, AMAG, HID, or similar.
- IP-Based Camera Systems:
- Knowledge of camera types (fixed, PTZ, thermal), network setup, and video management systems (VMS).
- Experience with brands such as Avigilon is a plus.
- Fire Alarm Systems:
- Understanding of NFPA codes and standards related to fire alarm installation and testing.
- Familiarity with manufacturers such as Edwards is a plus.
- Additional Technical Skills:
- Ability to understand other trades involvement (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Field troubleshooting and support for integrated systems.
