Job Description

Best Friends ECE Center in Oak Park, MI is HIRING Assistant Teachers for our Infant, Toddler, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms as well as afternoon Paraprofessionals/Teacher Assistants for our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms!!

Assistant Teachers will assisting the Lead Teacher with keeping the classroom on pace with the daily schedule while maintaining a positive, clean and active learning atmosphere. Each day, the Assistant Teacher is responsible helping with implementing the daily lesson plan and tasks delegated to Assistant Teachers in the classroom. Assistants are responsible for noting and reporting challenges, successes and competencies of each student by taking antidotal notes daily.

To be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements listed below:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have HS diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a licensed childcare facility

Additional Requirements

Must be able to clear comprehensive background check. CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
