Job Details

Job Essentials:

• Operation of multi-axis CNC equipment such as Horizontal & Vertical Machining Centers, Gear Hobbing Machines, and CNC Lathes with live tooling
• Machine product per drawing specs and QA Best Practices.
• Perform required tooling changes and adjust as needed.
• Setup and run cell’s equipment with the right CNC programs, tooling, and fixtures for each job.
• Read sketches and blueprints and translate into machine set-up.
• Check first piece machined and make adjustments to attain product specifications.
• Ensure Product Quality by performing periodic visual and dimensional inspections.
• Report production rates, machine utilization, quality issues, yield and efficiency for each machine.
• Load/Unload parts utilizing overhead crane or lift truck.
• Perform preventive maintenance to the equipment Daily checks, basic lubrications, cleaning components and support maintenance on major repairs upon request.
• Responsible for housekeeping (5S) of the machining cell.
• Run multiple machines at once.
• Capable of operating overhead crane, pallet jack.
• Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, standing is required as part of this position.
• May require lifting to up to 50lbs. repeatedly.  
• The majority of work is performed in the manufacturing area.

Qualifications:

• Must have Machining Experience - Understanding of machining tooling, Basic Geometric Dimensions & Tolerance, Ability to read and interpret Blue Prints.
• Need to have 2-years of Solid Work History within the last few years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
