Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Rochester Hills, Pontiac and Shelby Township
Description:
Responsible for assembling FAC P-Series products, from basic sub-assemblies to precision components (turrets, arms, wrists, robots, rails). Requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow engineering documentation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
- 1–5 years’ experience in mechanical assembly, repair, or related field
- Ability to read prints/schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and precision measuring equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, MIOSHA, hazardous materials)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Physical/Other:
- Lift up to 50 lbs; operate equipment/tools safely
- Good vision, hearing, and communication
- Primarily based at FAC Rochester Hills, with possible travel to remote sites
