GENERAL SUMMARY:
The objective of this position is to provide administrative support for enterprise scheduling (Autosys) and file transfer (MoveIT) systems. The incumbent will be required to perform application installation/support, patch/revision upgrades, account administration, and software installations on multiple operating environments. Develop processes and scripts as required for multiple applications. Work cooperatively as part of multiple project teams and participate in capacity planning for application and infrastructure support. Required to work within multifaceted process oriented operational environments, where metrics-based performance measurements are vital to success.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Completes problem management tickets, requests, and changes within the SLA timeframe.
Perform Operating System (OS) maintenance to including: installation, patch upgrades and configuration.
Perform hardware installations of servers, cabling and storage.
Perform file system maintenance to include file system creation, sizing and maintenance. This also includes file system security for user and group access to data.
Perform monitoring of systems for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) violations and remedy the situation according to process.
Perform scripting to automate functions and reporting.
Maintain technical documentation according to standards based upon work performed.
Work as part of project teams to prepare for and implement new or upgraded applications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of academic requirements.
Two plus (2+) years of IT experience, preferred.
Proficient in MS Office products including VISIO, preferred.
ITIL certification, preferred.
Ability to occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays.
