Job Title: PLC Technician Location: Walker, MI Pay Rate: $25 - $35/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled PLC Technician to support and troubleshoot automation systems on a high-volume manufacturing line. This role focuses on maintaining equipment uptime, identifying root causes of automation issues, and escalating complex problems to the engineering team when necessary. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair issues with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems * Work with industrial robotics platforms such as Fanuc, KUKA, Siemens, and Rockwell * Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues appropriately * Interpret schematics and potentially diagnose circuit board-level faults * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime * Maintain clear documentation of issues and resolutions Qualifications: * Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment * Familiarity with one or more platforms: Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc, KUKA * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently * Effective communicator with a proactive, self-starting mindset * Working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting and safety protocols Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
