Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd ShiftPosition Overview
JLL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a 3rd shift position (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) to manage UAW Trades operations including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and project workloads. This role provides direct supervision of operational support personnel and sustains facility management programs.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
Supervise JLL maintenance personnel, mobile equipment technicians, and housekeeping staff
Manage vendor contracts and coordinate with outside contractors
Provide weekend production coverage and vacation/training coverage as needed
Conduct regular safety tours and team meetingsOperations Management
Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Investigate, plan, and implement assigned projects
Monitor building systems including HVAC/R, power systems, and life safety equipment
Ensure completion of work orders within established timelines
Maintain regular communication with building occupants regarding project statusTechnical Systems Oversight
Mechanical Systems: HVAC/R, indoor air quality, temperature control, elevators, backflow preventers
Power Systems: Electrical substations, switchgear, emergency power, UPS systems, standby generators
Building Systems: Automation systems, data centers, security, utility/piping systems
Life Safety: Fire sprinkler systems, smoke/fire detection, extinguishers, evacuation plansFleet & Equipment Management
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mobile equipment
Coordinate non-scheduled repairs and emergency services
Maintain documentation and spare parts inventory
Support client lease/purchase decisionsRequired Qualifications
Associate's degree in Facilities Management or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years facilities/maintenance industry experience
Strong organizational and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proven ability to provide direction and leadership to staff
Computer proficiency requiredPreferred Qualifications
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations
Experience managing union trades personnel
Familiarity with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred)
HVAC/electrical certifications or licenses
Project management experience
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsSchedule Requirements
Shift: 3rd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night
Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Flexibility for emergency coverage and special projects
