Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as a Wire Harness Assembler, where you will operate wire harness processing equipment, assemble products using hand tools, and ensure quality standards are met. Utilize your expertise in interpreting schematics and blueprints to deliver high-quality wire harnesses that meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate wire harness processing equipment.
Assemble wire harness products using assembly documentation, parts lists, and hand tools.
Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
Perform cutting, stripping, marking, and terminating of wires using hand and semi-automated equipment.
Manually route wires following blueprints and written instructions.
Utilize braiding machines to coat wire harnesses.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in team continuous improvement projects.
Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and electrical work.
Experience with hand tools, wiring, crimping, schematics, and soldering.
Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work in a small, close-knit facility with around 50 employees, primarily focused on assembly and inspection. Our operations are centered around producing lights and covers for the RV industry, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schoolcraft, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
