Job Description Position Summary The Supervisor, Labeling oversees all activities related to labeling and ensures that Labeling employees are ready to perform these activities. Ensures compliance with regulatory and manufacturing regulations related to product labeling. The Supervisor, Labeling is a subject matter expert and will answer many labeling related questions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Review requests for new or modified labeling * Assign labeling tasks to appropriate individual(s) * Troubleshoot production labeling issues * Respond to queries from other departments regarding labeling practices * Maintain skills related to regulatory requirements for labeling, labeling guidelines, labeling software, and advanced Oracle features * Create and conduct training programs related to labeling activities * Maintain compliance related to GS1, GTIN and other regulatory requirements * Author and maintain all procedures related to labeling activities * Ensure all employees are properly trained and the training is correctly documented * Derive and present department key performance indicators (KPIs) * Provide regular project status updates * Prioritize all department projects, initiatives, and activities * Create and submit budget related to labeling expenses * Actively monitor and promote development of Labeling group * Recommend and implement process improvements * Support direct reports by developing goals, completing performance evaluations, and other supervisory tasks * Monitor and approve non-exempt employee time and attendance * Work on special assignments as they arise Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications * Knowledge of all labeling software used in the design and creation of labeling * Advanced knowledge of internal and external guidelines governing the creation of labeling * Advanced knowledge of packaging types and labels required for packaging types * Advanced troubleshooting of labeling issues in production * Considered a Super User and subject matter expert * Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment * High level of attention to detail * Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Education and Experience * Must be at least 18 years of age * High School diploma required; bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred * Minimum 10 years of direct work experience in a medical device manufacturing document, labeling, and/or graphic design department or company Physical Requirements and Work Environment * This is largely a sedentary role. * This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. * Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time About Us ICU Medical has consistently provided you with clinical innovations that help solve real-world challenges.
