Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembler I to join our team. The position involves assembling various components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, to contribute to the completion of diverse products. The assembler will work under general supervision, adhering to safety, quality, and quantity standards, and follow directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.
Responsibilities
Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and electrical components according to blueprints.
Adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards.
Follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Report any safety or quality issues promptly.
Participate in workplace organization and training procedures, including cross-training and teamwork.
Maintain good housekeeping and ergonomic practices.
Essential Skills
Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
Capability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
Effective verbal communication skills in English.
Attention to detail and ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment.
Teamwork and ability to work in a diverse setting, including conflict resolution skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in assembly, specifically in assembling medical hospital beds and stretchers using hand and power tools.
Physical ability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
