We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing automated equipment, ensuring its efficient operation
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with Automation Engineers to ensure equipment runs according to specifications, involving troubleshooting, debugging, start-up, and programming of automated equipment and upgrades
Serve as a technical expert for electrical circuits, program logic controls, vision inspection, and automation
Coordinate the development and maintenance of effective maintenance specifications and preventative maintenance programs for all equipment
Participate with the automation team in the design of automated machines, equipment, systems, devices, and fixtures to support assembly requirements
Recommend improvements to equipment and manufacturing methods
Assist maintenance personnel with diagnosing software and electrical system problems
Support maintenance with equipment repairs in case of failures
Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering to optimize equipment performance
Assist Automation Engineers in executing Engineering Change Requests for equipment changes
Be flexible for off-shift availability as needed
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as an Automation Technician, specifically working on controls
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with HMI, Logic Vision systems, and making minor adjustments
Capability to perform low voltage wiring (120V) and resolve wiring issues in panels.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
