We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to work on the day shift, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction
Job Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections on metal parts using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and special gauges to ensure product conformity
Prepare PPAP packages, maintaining PFMEA and Control plans, and updating when needed
Lead the annual IATF audits conducted by certification boards
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues
Develop and implement quality control procedures
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality
Perform regular LPA's and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement
Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify trends
Essential Skills
3 years of experience as a quality technician in a metals shop, preferably with CNC experience
Proficiency in quality inspection and assurance using tools like micrometers, gauges, and calipers
Experience in gage calibration, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators
Shift
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. with optional overtime
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
