REPORTING & ANALYTICS DEVELOPER I/II/III

Position Summary:
The Reporting and Analytics Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse and reporting solutions for the University. This role is required to interact with developers, analysts, and stakeholders from various departments to ensure effective data delivery for decision support.
Required Qualifications:
Reporting and Analytics Developer I
· Associate degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or a related field · Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with stakeholders · Effective written and verbal communication skills · An understanding of Relational Database technologies
· Ability to perform essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
Reporting and Analytics Developer II · All the qualifications of the Reporting and Analytics Developer I, plus: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field · 2 years of database and query development experience · Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., SQL Server) · Experience with reporting techniques and technologies
Reporting and Analytics Developer III · All the qualifications of the Reporting and Analytics Developer II, plus: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field · 5 years of database and query development experience · Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with stakeholders · Experience writing technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
Reporting and Analytics Developer I · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field · 2+ years of reporting and analytics development experience · Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Reporting Services · Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with stakeholders · Effective written and verbal communication skills · Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., SQL Server)
Reporting and Analytics Developer II · All the qualifications of the Reporting and Analytics Developer I, plus: · Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field · 4 years of reporting and analytics development experience · Experience with Agile Development methodologies · An understanding of Waterfall development methodologies · Experience with the ITIL framework · Experience participating in solution/code reviews, sprint meetings and retrospectives
Reporting and Analytics Developer III · All the qualifications of the Reporting and Analytics Developer II, plus: · Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field · 8 years of database and query development experience · Experience with SAP (ERP , SLCM , Business Warehouse) · Experience with IT vendor management
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting and Analytics Developer I: Reporting and Analytics Developer I is responsible for: · Monitoring daily data loading processes and resolving incidents in a timely manner · Developing ETL processes to support data warehouse and reporting solutions · Developing and maintaining technical documentation · Participating in solution/code reviews, sprint meetings and retrospectives · Ensuring reporting and data solutions follow industry best practices · Other duties as assigned
Reporting and Analytics Developer II: Reporting and Analytics Developer II is responsible for: · All the requirements of the Reporting and Analytics Developer I, plus: · Developing complex queries to support data warehouse and reporting solutions · Performing data quality and validation checks to ensure accuracy of reporting solutions · Participating in data modeling decisions and providing technical guidance to project teams · Proactively monitoring upcoming changes to production environments and addressing potential risk
Reporting and Analytics Developer III : Reporting and Analytics Developer III is responsible for: · All the requirements of the Reporting and Analytics Developer II, plus: · Leading technical reporting projects that impact large areas of the organization · Leading solution code reviews, spring meetings, and retrospective · Leading team operational meetings · Leading continuous improvement activities by optimizing existing reporting solutions

Pay Range: $52,000 - $76,000
