Job Title: CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer
Job Description
Join our dynamic machining department as a CNC Citizen Swiss Lathe Programmer. We are investing in new technologies and need a skilled programmer to take charge of our CNC Swiss lathe operations. You will be responsible for programming and machining, ensuring high-quality production in our clean, aerospace-focused facility.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathe equipment with minimal supervision.
Machine aircraft parts with tolerances as tight as .0005".
Perform critical measurements using supplied gauging.
Maintain proper paperwork associated with planned jobs.
Translate blueprints and understand GD&T.
Utilize shop math skills for small components, primarily working with stainless steel.
Handle prototype and short-run operations (30 - 500 pieces).
Use a wide variety of precision measuring tools.
Work with Citizen Swiss Lathes and bar fed feeders up to 32mm in diameter.
Program using Mastercam from scratch or on the Swiss lathe controller.
Essential Skills
5+ years as a CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer (Citizen Swiss Lathe).
Experience in performing set-ups, tool changes, and offsets.
3+ years of programming Mastercam from scratch, including 2D & 3D.
Ability to hold tight tolerances and understand blueprints/GD&T.
Proficiency with basic toolboxes and measuring tools, including indicators.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
