Gateway Travel is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting/Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our travel agency. This is a part-time role (10–16 hours per week) and consideration for either an employee or contractor arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day accounting needs
- Process weekly ARC settlements, debit memos, and reconciliations
- Oversee payroll (employees and independent contractors) using ADP
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations, and vendor payments
- Manage commission reconciliation process
- Maintain accurate records in SABRE and TRAMS (industry specific software)
- Support month-end close and reporting for management and external accounting partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience; travel industry experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with SABRE and TRAMS software and ARC processes is preferred, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with ADP payroll
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
