The North Flint Food Market (NFFM) is a full-service, cooperatively-owned grocery store opening in early November.
Our mission is to expand access to healthy food in North Flint, create quality jobs and career opportunities in North Flint, and own and operate a grocery store in North Flint.
OVERVIEW: NFFM is seeking to hire experienced, highly skilled, and values-driven Department Managers to oversee all aspects of the store’s day-to-day management and operations, in alignment with the goals, objectives, and policies of NFFM.
We are looking to build out our leadership/management team to work with and support our General Manager in operating our full-service community-owned grocery store.
Grocery, Produce, Front End, Deli/Bakery, and Meat Department Managers.
All department managers will exhibit and bring their experience in the following key attributes:
- Customer experience
- Communications
- Leadership and Supervision
- Purchasing and Pricing
- Merchandising and Promotions
- Department Budgeting and Planning
- Food Safety and Sanitation
- Department Operations
- Participate in store operations and leadership
Full Time, Salary based on experience : $46,000. - $58,000. per year.
