PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking qualified Welders for a unique project involving dome installation work. This is a hands-on role requiring both welding and general construction support.
Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $31.50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Welding and assisting in the assembly of structural trusses
Moving and positioning trusses as part of the installation team
Using basic hand and power tools to support construction tasks
Working on or around scaffolding towers and elevated platforms
Assisting with site cleanup and material handling
Supporting overall dome structure assembly alongside construction laborers
Qualifications:
Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) or Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / Stick Welding)
Experience Candidates must be comfortable working in elevated areas
Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
