Home Health Aide
My name is Todd and I'm a 50-year-old level C 5 quadriplegic. I live on my own in an apartment on Bradley Street in Mt. Pleasant, but I have home healthcare workers come in at 3 different times each day.
The shifts go like this:
Sunday- 6:00am to 1:00pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Monday- 6:00am to 2pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Tuesday- 6:00am to 2pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Wednesday- 6:00am to 2pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Thursday- 6:00am to 2pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Friday- 6:00am to 2pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
Saturday- 6:00am to 1pm, 5pm to 7pm & 10pm to 12am
The 5pm to 7pm shift is considered the dinner shift and the and 10pm to 12am shift is considered the bedtime shift. These 2 shifts can be adjusted somewhat if you or I need to work around another schedule or if something personal comes up.
You don't necessarily need to have a CNA license, but it's helpful if you're knowledgeable in that kind of care. Some of the duties include cooking, cleaning, laundry, range of motion stretches, dressing and hygiene assistance, driving me to appointments & shopping (I have a van).
Starting wage would be $15.88 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
You will need a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Two of the shifts are only 2 hours long, so I'm looking for someone that lives in or close to Mt. Pleasant.
