Schedule: 12 Hours, Rotation of Shift Every 3 Months
Rotation Frequency: Every 3 months, employees will transition to a new shift.
Shift Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts a week. Day Shift (7am-7:30pm), 12-hour Night Shift (7pm-7:30am). Rotating weekends/holidays
Rotation Process: At the end of each 3-month period, a new shift schedule will be distributed, and employees will be informed of their new shift assignment.
Communication: Schedules will be shared at least 4 weeks before the transition date to allow adequate preparation time.
Flexibility & Requests: We will accommodate shift preferences or requests to the best of our ability, but rotations will be based on operational needs.
Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.
Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred. Any issuing authority accepted.
