Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for entering and managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Order Management:
Create, enter, and monitor purchase orders in the ERP system.
Ensure accuracy of order details including pricing, quantity, and delivery dates.
Track and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies.
Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with cycle counting.
Supplier Relationship & Contract Management:
Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, lead times, and product information.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing supplier contracts and agreements.
Data and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and inventory transactions.
Prepare and analyze supply chain reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
