Job Description:
Assemble make-up air equipment; check and confirm work in accordance with job specifications, procedures, quality standards, and checklists
Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings (training provided)
Safely operate forklift and/or other lift equipment
Mount fans, motors, burners, and gas manifolds
Measure, cut, and install insulation
Accurately complete checklists
Suggest design and procedure improvements to improve quality and productivity and reduce cost
Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to read, write, and do simple math, read a tape measure
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Ability to operate a MIG welder and pass a pre-employment weld test
Ability to operate cold saw, iron worker, shear, bend sheet metal
Ability to safely and properly use a wide variety of tools, including hand and power tools
Ability to safely and properly operate a forklift and/or other lift equipment
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to sit, bend, squat, and kneel
Ability to perform work from a ladder, reaching and working overhead
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment
Ability to follow directions in standard practices and procedures
Construction, assembly, or carpentry experience preferred
MIG welding experience preferred
Required to wear proper PPE at all times
