Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join our team at Half Barrel Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and have a passion for preparing quality food in a fast-paced bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to bar standards and customer specifications

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

• Stock and restock food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen inventory

• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas

• Clean and sanitize food prep areas regularly

• Communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff

• Maintain good attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts

• Support the team with flexibility and a positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Experience as a cook (bar or casual dining preferred)

• Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Dependable with a good attendance history

• Willingness to perform various kitchen duties as needed

• 25-35 hrs per week
