Position: Shop Helper
About Us:
Causley Trucking, a family-owned business based in Detroit, is looking for a motivated Shop Helper to support our maintenance team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to break into the diesel tech field or grow into a technician role over time.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist mechanics with basic maintenance and repair tasks.

Clean and organize the shop and work areas.

Deliver parts and tools to technicians as needed.

Perform basic oil changes, tire checks, and other light-duty tasks.

Maintain cleanliness of vehicles before and after service.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus but not required.

Mechanical interest or experience preferred.

Reliable, punctual, and ready to learn.

Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction.

Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
