Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is hiring Full-Time Operational Support Drivers to support an automotive Tier-1 supplier in Warren, MI. Operational Support Drivers will be working with prototype vehicles, ADAS features, advanced safety systems, and next-generation automotive technology. Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- This position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to learn quickly, and effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- ADAS driving/charging experience is a major plus
- Technical experience in automotive, computers and/or similar electronics
- Basic understanding of Windows, MacOS, and Linux
Responsibilities:
- Drive prototype vehicles on public and private roads to test ADAS features and troubleshoot technical issues
- Collect data manually while driving, including hands-free on highways
- Operate in-vehicle data recording computers, including start/stop recording and minor debugging
- Ensure the safe operation of test vehicles on public roads
- Collect data manually while driving, including hands-free on highways
- Time management and cooperative development skills
- Focus, attention to detail, and require minimal mentorship to complete tasks
- Ability to demonstrate safe driving in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally
- Exceptional ability and desire to learn new skills and tools
- Ability to apply oneself in new problems in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a collaborative team setting with ambitious goals and timelines
Shift:
- AM day shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Monday - Sunday)
- PM night shift: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am (Monday - Sunday)?
