The Ontonagon County Sheriff's Office is seeking qualified applicants
for a full-time Road Patrol Officer/Deputy.
General Summary: Road Patrol Officers/Deputies patrol the entire County to control traffic, prevent crime or disturbance of the peace, and arrest violators of State and Local laws. Responds, as directed by the dispatcher or necessitated by a hazard situation, to a variety of complaints or calls requiring police assistance.
Salary and Benefits: Starting wage for this position is $22.06/hr with a 3-year step increase and also includes:

QUALIFICATIONS: Michigan State Certification Required (M.C.O.L.E.S.)
Successful Completion of the Police Academy or ability to become certified.
Applicants will be required to sign a waiver and undergo a background investigation.
