Job Description
This is a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician position, working from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional weekend work when necessary. The role involves maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity, particularly in the mixing/mill area focusing on power transmission equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, and fluid transfer systems.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to downtime situations to ensure machines are quickly back in operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on work cells and document all maintenance activities.
Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.
Conduct process verification procedures and adhere to process deviation protocols when altering parameters.
Handle repairs including fabricating, replacing bearings, hydraulic pump maintenance, cooling pump repairs, and conveyor systems maintenance.
Perform minor facility maintenance repairs and collaborate with others on maintenance issues.
Essential Skills
Preventive maintenance expertise
Machine repair and maintenance repair skills
Hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
Blueprint reading proficiency
5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance
3 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
3 years of experience reading blueprints

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
