Director of Social Work - Glacier Hills Senior Living (Ann Arbor, MI)

We're looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about serving the geriatric population, experienced in social services delivery, and skilled in leading and mentoring a team. In this leadership role, you'll help shape a supportive, person-centered environment for our residents and families, while working alongside a committed interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage all aspects of the Social Services Department.
Provide support for residents and families including assessments, discharge planning, and care coordination.
Supervise and mentor staff, promote professional growth, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Serve as a key liaison between residents, families, staff, and external care partners.
Uphold excellence in service and communication, helping create a community of dignity and respect.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human service field
Licensed Social Worker (LBSW or LMSW) in Michigan
At least 1 year of supervised social work experience in healthcare
1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in long-term or geriatric care
Knowledge of MDS, discharge planning, and state regulations
