Job Overview
As the Electrical Testing Lead for the Panel Test Department, you will manage our team of Test Engineers and Technicians, ensuring streamlined administration and coordination during the final acceptance testing of relay control panels and other electrical equipment.
A Day in the Life
* Coordinate and oversee the functional testing and final acceptance of electrical control panels and electrical enclosures.
* Manage compliance with all quality department procedures and documentation requirements.
* Administer floor operations related to panel testing, including managing priority shifts and addressing testing issues in collaboration with the supervisor and other departments.
* Provide administrative support to resolve daily operational challenges.
* Act as the primary administrative point of contact during customer acceptance testing and other customer engagements.
* Manage and develop team members, including training new employees.
* Collaborate with the Testing Supervisor to develop and implement department standards, best practices, and training materials.
* Lead the department in adherence to company policies such as 5S, My IDEAS, and LEAN manufacturing principles.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent experience
Three years of experience in testing of electrical equipment
Supervisory experience preferred
