Responsible for design engineering activities for assigned programs, ensuring products meet customer and Company engineering specifications; provide engineering leadership relating to styling and engineering changes, as well as to production tooling and process issues; use knowledge of plastic design, die casting design, stamping design, busbar design, DC contactors and fuses, and wire harness development to provide engineering support and input to the design and engineering changes affecting the product; ensure optimal quality and feasibility; utilize Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP, GD&T, FEA, DFMEA, and CATIA to perform duties; provide engineering support during all phases of projects, ensuring optimal development feasibility while adhering to Lear’s processes and procedures; provide detailed technical assessments and activity status reports to management; collaborate with the prototype build lab to assess feasibility of engineering requirements and manufacturability; and develop new designs as needed.

Salary: $119,025 per year;
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Design Engineer, as a Design Release Engineer, as an Integration Product Design Engineer, as a Product Engineer, as a Tire and Wheel Design Release Engineer, or in a related occupation;
