Job Description
We are seeking a FHIR Clinical Terminology Specialist to join our growing interoperability team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions involving HL7 FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10), and mapping healthcare data for integration across various systems.
This role will be responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Manage ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical subject matter expertise focusing on client success in utilizing Oracle's solutions. Through the use of Oracle's implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in change management, help identify opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project's targeted outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to understand clinical data requirements and workflows.
Develop FHIR profiles, resources, value sets, and implementation guides.
Create and maintain mappings between source systems and standard vocabularies (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD-10).
Collaborate with developers and informaticists to integrate clinical terminologies into products and services.
Provide subject matter expertise on the use of terminologies, coding systems, and FHIR standards.
Conduct quality assurance and validation of terminology mappings and data transformations.
Support regulatory, compliance, and interoperability initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Lab Science.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
