However, as a global company, MAHLE offers many job opportunities outside of the U.S. which can be found through our employment website www.jobs.mahle.com Your Contribution: * Address supplier issues that affect daily plant operations * Manage the supplier communication process * Coordinate change notices with the supplier * Responsible for commodity strategy formulation and execution * Responsible for cost reduction initiatives and support of PPV report * Communicate and coordinate supplier issues with MAHLE Purchasing Team * Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates per the commodity * Position includes up to 25% domestic and international travel Your Experience and Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration * At least 3 years experience in Purchasing or other Supply Chain related field in an automotive environment (cross-functional exposure preferred) * Specialized skills in negotiation, financial cost analysis and market analysis Ability to read blue prints and specifications required * Strong time and project management, problem solving and continuous improvement skills * Knowledge of manufacturing processes (stamping, injection molding, casting) * Focus on deadlines and target objectives * Strong team player, ability to coordinate cross-functional teams * Excellent communication skills * Up to 25% International and domestic travel by plane and car required * Solid MS Office skills required * SAP experience preferred * Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with all levels of the organization Do you have any questions?
