Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Post-Closing Support Specialist for a remote 90-day W2 contract position with our banking client. The ideal candidate will assist with reducing a commercial loan post-close backlog by verifying the accuracy of loan documentation and ensuring correct data entry into the loan servicing system. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, document review experience, and familiarity with commercial loan structures.
Essential Duties:
Review post-closing commercial loan files to verify completeness and accuracy of executed documents.
Compare loan documents (e.g., promissory notes, collateral agreements, guarantees) against data entered into the loan servicing system.
Validate key data points such as loan amounts, interest rates, maturity dates, payment terms, and borrower information.
Identify and report discrepancies or missing documentation in accordance with internal quality control procedures.
Ensure all documentation complies with internal policy and regulatory standards.
Communicate findings and coordinate with internal teams to resolve outstanding post-close items.
Maintain accurate logs and records to track progress in backlog reduction.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial loan operations, loan servicing, or post-closing document review.
Strong working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and terminology.
Experience validating data against system records in a banking or financial institution environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven setting.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook; experience with loan servicing systems a plus.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $35 - 39.
