Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Leader to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall plant performance.
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide strong leadership to the operations, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Implement KPIs and metrics to monitor operational performance.
Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Assist in managing department maintenance tasks to minimize unscheduled downtime and maximize utilization of planned downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Implement best practices for health, safety, and compliance.
Collaborate closely with other departments such as Engineering, Quality, Finance, HR, and Sales to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
Essential Skills
Proven experience of 5-10 years in operations management within aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
Strong understanding of CNC Machining, production processes, scheduling, and supply chain dynamics.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a diverse team.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong bias towards action and ability to effectively manage change.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Experience in budgeting and/or P&L Management.
Intermediate knowledge of Windows and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work Environment
The primary work environment is throughout the production plant and office. The role requires adherence to AS 9100 standards. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, and/or pull 50 pounds and stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift. Occasionally, you will perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools and equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
