19 farmworkers are needed to hand harvest apples, blueberries, sweet cherries, tart cherries, and grapes. Workers will also assist with general field, orchard, and vineyard maintenance. Tasks include weeding, hoeing, mulching, fertilizing, mowing, pruning, thinning, grafting, planting or transplanting trees, blossom removal, and seeding. Workers may install or maintain tree screens, grow tubes, trellis systems, irrigation systems, and deer fencing. Additional duties include applying crop sprays using backpack or tractor-mounted sprayers, operating tractors and other farm equipment, and performing routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and farm buildings. Harvest preparation tasks include spreading liners in bins, cleaning and repairing harvest bins, and laying mylar. Workers will be responsible for canopy management in vineyards and various cleanup tasks such as removing old trees, sticks, brush, wire, and garbage from fields, orchards, and vineyards. Some workers may also be required to drive or operate vehicles and forklifts. Duties will vary depending on crop and season. Work will occur in Benzie and Manistee counties, Michigan.

Work schedule is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.
