The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Power BI Developer to lead our Cybersecurity IPRM Reporting initiatives! This role is ideal for a developer with 5 years of experience in data visualization and analytics, who is passionate about driving insights in the critical area of IPRM Risk Management. You will collaborate with senior developers, cybersecurity analysts, and risk managers to design, build, and maintain Technology Risk Management solutions using Power BI.

The Work Itself
- Lead the design and development of complex data models and visualizations in Power BI to support Technology Risk Management automated control testing needs.
- Develop, test, and optimize DAX queries and Power BI reports for data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
- Collaborate with Technology Risk Management and engineering teams to gather and clarify data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Power BI solutions and processes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.
The Skills You Bring
Required Skills: * 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau and data visualization tools. * Good understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling in Power BI. * Demonstrable experience in integrating Power BI with SQL data sources and other data platforms. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. * Good communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills: * Exposure to cybersecurity concepts, risk management, or related metrics is a plus. * Knowledge of cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS or Azure, particularly in relation to data services. * Experience with Python or similar programming languages for data automation.
- Familiarity with advanced Power BI features such as Row-Level Security and Power BI Embedded.

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
