Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow start up and shut down procedures on all equipment, monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and record same
Coordinate stock delivery times with truck drivers
Maintain stock records for traceability
Stage steel for machine operators on a timely basis
Cycle count inventory, maintain and make adjustments to same in established systems
Utilize the available computer software programs as required
Operate the overhead crane to move material and unload trucks
Identify equipment irregularities and/or malfunctions and make correction or notify proper person
Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices
Keep work area, equipment and machines clean and orderly at all times
Offer suggestions for improving, productivity, process, safety or work environment
Basic Qualifications:
1 year of overhead crane experience
Intermediate proficiency with SAP
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
