Description
Our trusted client is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor Consultant for a long-term engagement. This role requires a skilled individual with a strong background in audit procedures and tax calculations, as well as familiarity with 401k plan audits. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with an audit team and partner while working independently on specific tasks.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive audits, including 401k plan audits, ensuring all procedures are completed accurately and on time.
Download and organize workpapers from 401k plan advisors to support audit processes.
Perform detailed international tax calculations and provide accurate reporting.
Utilize auditing software such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx to manage audit engagements effectively.
Analyze financial data and produce clear audit findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with the audit team and partner to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare and execute audit plans, aligning with organizational goals and timelines.
Review and interpret financial statements to identify potential risks or discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practices throughout the audit process.
Apply knowledge of accounting software systems to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or related fields.
Proficient in accounting software systems such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx.
Strong understanding of audit programs, procedures, and engagement management.
Experience with 401k plan audits and familiarity with associated regulations.
Knowledge of international tax calculations and reporting.
Ability to analyze financial statements and identify key findings.
Skilled in preparing detailed audit plans and executing them efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team environment.
