Job Description

Erskine Auto Repair has an immediate opening for a Certified Auto Mechanic or a mechanic willing to become certified. This is a full time position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays required. Prior experience required. Erskine Auto also repairs and refinishes automotive vehicle bodies and straightens vehicle frames.

Job tasks include but are not limited to:

Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Additional Requirements

Auto Body Repair Technician experience will also be considered. Prior experience required.

Job tasks and abilities would include:

File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
Fit and weld replacement parts into place.
Prime and paint repaired surfaces.
Follow supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace.
