Description We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lapeer, Michigan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth communication with clients and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer support and administrative tasks within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities: - Respond promptly to inbound calls and address customer inquiries with professionalism. - Manage email correspondence to resolve issues and provide accurate information. - Perform data entry tasks to maintain organized and up-to-date records. - Handle order entry and ensure timely processing of customer requests. - Coordinate scheduling and track orders to meet deadlines. - Engage in outbound calls to follow up on customer concerns or inquiries. - Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports and documentation. - Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs effectively. - Demonstrate product knowledge to assist customers with questions and concerns. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
Proficiency in answering inbound and outbound calls.
Strong skills in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Experience managing email correspondence with a focus on accuracy and organization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.
Ability to process orders and perform scheduling duties efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
