Job Title: Automation and Electronics Technician
Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to provide advanced technical support in the installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated and electronic equipment.
You will work independently on complex projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and PLC systems, and contribute to continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems.
Modify and create PLC and HMI programs; adjust robot paths and vision systems.
Support new equipment launches and retrofits.
Perform and improve preventive maintenance using CMMS software.
Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime.
Essential Skills
Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMI, and industrial robotics (ABB preferred)
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills - hydraulics, pneumatics
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Work Environment
Fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting, working 45-55 hours per week and some weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
