As a Team Member for the Apex Leadership Co. you will experience and be a part of just that! When you join the team you will be engaging with the youth, going into elementary schools for a two-week leadership-driven and fitness encouraging fundraiser. You will take part in: Pep-rallies, class lessons, prize distribution, challenges, and FUN!! It then all boils down to…EVENT DAY! Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent or higher education (some college or graduate preferred)
- MUST have reliable transportation
- Dependable and able to problem solve
- Availability during during school hours (7am-4pm)
- Prior experience working with the youth is preferred
- Great written and oral communication skills (with both children and adults)
- Ability to work collaboratively within small groups
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to pass a background check and random drug testing - ability to work on a school campus is REQUIRED
- Must be willing to speak on a microphone in front of a crowd
- Must be willing to be pied in the face, silly stringed, duct taped to a pole, etc.
- Not afraid to be Goofy and HAVE FUN!
Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with students and school staff and providing phenomenal customer service
- Deliver classroom lessons with accuracy and purpose filled intent (scripts are provided).
- Set up and break down pep rallies and fun runs.
- Provide high and contagious energy during pep rallies and fun runs.
- Ability to speak in front of a crowd.
- Transfer program based and classroom activity materials from campus to campus; loading and unloading continually throughout the semester.
- Engage and coordinate with administration, faculty and staff, and students on a regular daily basis; prior, during, and in conclusion of the program.
- Manage inventory and track performance metrics for the duration of each school served.

Details:
- Full time work during school year
- Local Travel between Macomb & Oakland County MI
- Will be at a new school every two weeks
- Opportunity for part time work during summer months
