JOB DUTIES: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards. Work closely with product owners, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Follow scrum agile process in application development and maintenance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring best practices in coding, design patterns, and development methodologies. Develop and oversee software architecture and technical specifications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of the applications. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for the development and maintenance of software applications. Test software developed in multiple environments and support QA and business through the testing lifecycle. Manage software development projects from conception through deployment, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery within budget. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and compliance with company standards. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, applying innovative solutions to improve the overall efficiency and performance of software applications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as Technology Lead, Software Developer, or related position involving software development. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Designing efficient, scalable software solutions, Programming languages including Java and Angular, Developing both front-end and back-end technologies, Database management systems including SQL Server and MySQL, Version control including GIT, Software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum; and, addressing business problems through the development and programming of applications and systems. Work from home is available up to two (2) days per week. Must reside within 50 mile radius of Southfield, MI area.
SALARY: $132,350 - $151,000per year
