The Maintenance Supervisor, Welder Repair is responsible for directing, coaching, and leading all resistance welding activities within the Assembly area. This position will supervise Weld Repairmen (electrical skilled trades), Pipefitters, Welders, and Die-makers. Support and manage through others, on production activities, quality requirements, professional and preventative maintenance, continuous improvement measures, and Stellantis Production Way (SPW) initiatives. Assist in team building, planning, prioritizing work, and analyze root causes to solve problems. Actively drive the team's SPW processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or 3 years of experience in robotics, strategic schematics and PLC logic
Ability to work any shift and work overtime as required
Microsoft Office skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
Journeyman status in welder equipment repair
Education and training on resistance welding equipment, robots, and programmable controllers
Prior experience in an advanced stamping/assembly facility
Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude (resistance welding equipment, weld controllers, WTC /Bosch/Square D and hydraulic circuitry)
Supervisory experience in a union environment
