Project Executive – Northern Michigan (Traverse City, MI)

Miller-Davis Company is seeking a Project Executive to oversee high-impact projects in Northern Michigan, with a home base in Traverse City. This is your opportunity to shape communities, mentor future leaders, and drive excellence in construction.
What You'll Do
- Represent Miller-Davis at the executive level on all project matters.
- Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field staff.
- Oversee project staffing, subcontracting, and performance reviews.
- Drive innovation in project management tools and processes.
- Champion safety, sustainability, and local subcontractor engagement.
- Collaborate with leadership on business development and client relationships.
Your First 6 Months
- Be on site at least 3 days per week at Northern Michigan project locations.
- Build strong relationships with your teams and community partners.
- Establish a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of leadership experience in construction (PM, Superintendent, or similar).
- Deep knowledge of contracts, risk management, and construction best practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
- Tech-savvy with project management software and tools.
- LEED or other professional certifications are a plus.
