Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum development, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience designing online courses or e-learning content in higher education.
- Demonstrated expertise in learning management systems, accessibility standards (such as WCAG), and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in digital content creation tools and experience with project management.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Candidates are welcome to submit a work sample that showcases their instructional design skills—this could include a link to a learning module, instructional video, screenshots of a course design, an interactive lesson, or other relevant materials that demonstrate content design, organization, or learner engagement.
Desired
- Master’s degree in a related field, with extensive experience in online course development, including course assessments, multimedia integration, and faculty training in higher education.
- Knowledge of ADA standards and experience conducting quality reviews for accessibility.
- A record of implementing innovative e-learning solutions and familiarity with current and emerging instructional technologies.
- Experience in creating and delivering professional development workshops for faculty and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and provide instructional design support for diverse academic disciplines.
