Description We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you will lead efforts to optimize financial strategies, oversee budgeting processes, and provide key insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial planning and data analytics, coupled with exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Manage financial planning and analysis processes, including cash forecasting and capital management.
Provide strategic recommendations to business units using data-driven insights from financial models.
Oversee accounting functions to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in reporting.
Utilize advanced accounting software systems and tools, such as Adaptive Insights and CRM platforms, to streamline operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Drive improvements in budget processes and ensure adherence to financial best practices.
Support the implementation of enterprise performance management (EPM) tools to enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Adaptive Insights and CRM platforms.
Strong understanding of annual budgeting, capital management, and cash forecasting.
Demonstrated expertise in data analytics and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Familiarity with enterprise performance management (EPM) tools and processes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
