Job Title: Inventory Specialist - Shipping and Receiving
Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will assist with managing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain the company database of purchased items and finished goods.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly physical inventory counts.
Document physical counts in the company shared drive.
Organize and locate all inventory within the facility.
Reconcile actual stock counts to computer-generated reports.
Receive, unpack, and deliver goods to Production & Blending Department.
Restock consumable items and coordinate purchase orders with the purchasing department.
Inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and place goods in designated locations around the site.
Essential Skills
Experience in an inventory role, beyond just shipping and receiving.
Proficiency with inventory tracking systems (ERP, SAP, Excel, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Capability to stand and walk for the entire shift in various weather conditions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience in cycle counting with basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with forklift operation.
Familiarity with RF scanners, bills of lading, and work orders.
Skills in data entry, material handling, and packaging.

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing facility focused on chemical products such as windshield washer fluid and pool sanitizer. The facility is mostly automated, with a focus on efficiency and safety. Expect variable temperatures, warmer in summer and cooler in winter. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, a non-graphic shirt that can get dirty, and work boots.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
