Job Description
THIS IS A NON-CAREER APPOINTMENT THAT IS LIMITED TO 129 HOURS PER MONTH AND 1,039 HOURS PER APPOINTMENT.
At the direction of the supervisor, the Welcome Center lead worker, or other permanent Welcome Center/MDOT staff, this position assists the full-time laborers in performing a wide variety of tasks in order to carry out the maintenance of the Welcome Center facility, equipment and grounds.

This State Worker position is for part time help in the maintenance area at the Coldwater Welcome Center located on I-69 northbound by mile marker 6, south of Coldwater, MI. This is not a permanent position, it offers no benefits, the rate of pay is $16.00 per hour, and the hours will not exceed 129 hours per month or 1,040 hours within a year.
